FINALLY - we have a POSTBOX

postbox The postbox at our Post Office was disabled in October when the new ramp system was created at Sainsbury's supermarket making the box inaccessible to the Post Office workers for emptying. This week - SIX MONTHS later we have the box re-sited. Planning permission had to be sought and a man had to travel from Sheffield - a journey which took 2 hours to officially open the box. The patience of Mytholmroyd people is to be applauded. Christmas was particularly difficult because cards and letters could only be posted when the Post Office was open. - posted 20th February 2008
