Mytholmroyd Methodist Church Open Gardens Day

Take a stroll around Mytholmroyd and visit our open gardens with various stalls and activities for you to enjoy!

Date: 23rd June 2012

Opening Times: 10am to 12 noon and 2pm to 4pm

Cost: £3.00

The Proceeds from this event will be shared between Christian Aid and Mytholmroyd Methodist Church.

Evening tickets are available separately at a cost of £5.00 Ticket includes tapas supper and one free glass of wine or other beverage from 7.30pm to 10pm at 19 Brier Hey Close.

Streamside Fold, HX7 5DY.

The residents have created a small garden from waste ground. Most of the residents have kindly agreed to show their front gardens. Disabled drop off point only. No parking.

21 Streamside Fold, HX7 5DY.

A novice's garden with a surprising water feature. Cakes, jams and plants for sale.

Glen Carr, 55 Caldene Avenue HX7 5AJ.

A terraced garden sloping down to the river with trees, shrubs and whatever can be grown in tubs. There may be sightings of dragons. Teddy Bear's picnic (weather permitting)

Reedacres, Red Acre Lane HX7 5DQ.

May pole dancing displays and have a go yourself! May pole dancing and plants for sale

5 Hazelmere, Midgley Road HX7 5LW.

A deceptive garden overlooking the Rochdale Canal. A wonderful quiet oasis on the edge of Mytholmroyd. Refreshments for sale.

6 Hullett Close HX7 5QP.

Ceirian and her family moved in a few months ago and have made a wonderful childrens' garden. Toy stall and childrens' clothing.

14 Brier Hey Close HX7 5PL.

Exotic and unusual plants including Chusan Palm, Trachycarpus, Aloes (inc. endangered Aloe polyphylla); Agaves and cacti including prickly pears; Aroids may be in flower - arum and other species. Succulents for sale.

19 Brier Hay Close HX7 5PL.

A small garden with several seating areas and a pond which has turned into a natural wetland. A friendly and welcoming space.

Refreshments for sale and a book stall.

Separate evening ticket available for tapas and wine at £5.00.
