We are the longest established locally based specialists in building preservation and refurbishment. Based in Mytholmroyd Expertreat Ltd. was formed in the late 1970's and has provided professional surveys and treatments to 1000's of properties both in the Calder Valley and further afield. THE SERVICES

SURVEYS - Professional, competent and comprehensive surveys providing detailed and concise reports and quotations.

DAMP PROOFING - Horizontal damp proof course installation using injection mortar, siliconate liquid injection and chemically free ‘Lectros’ electro osmotic systems.

VERTICAL WATERPROOFING SYSTEMS - Cavity drainage membranes and dry lining using the ‘Platon’, ‘Spry’, ‘Newlath 2000’ membranes and cementitious tanking provide a barrier to lateral damp penetration and can be combined with horizontal damp proofing to provide a complete solution to dampness especially useful in cellar or basement conversions.

TIMBER TREATMENTS - Dry rot and wet rot eradication using water based fluids.

RESIN REPAlRS TO TIMBERS - Why replace timber when a resin splice repair will reduce disruption.

CAVITY WALL TIE REPLACEMENT - Using the latest single fix replacement ties to reduce fixing times and therefore cost to clients.

CONDENSATION CONTROL - Whether you have problems with black mould, foisty odours or streaming windows we have an answer with the Ebac range of dehumidifiers.

GUARANTEES - As members of the British Wood Preserving and Damp-proofing Association (B.W.P.D.A.) we are in the enviable position of being able to offer you the opportunity to register our guarantee with the Guarantee Protection Trust Limited (G.P.T.) They will provide you or subsequent owners of your property with insurance backed cover for a period of twenty years from the date of registration which will protect your guarantee in the event of this Company not being in a position to honour its guarantee liabilities

As many of the banks, building societies and local authorities now require G.P.T. registered guarantees due to many companies having ceased trading with 'worthless' guarantees, we strongly recommend that you take up this offer.
