I am trying to trace Ruth Whiteoak who originated from Mytholmroyd. Her elder brother ran a Pharmacy either in the town or possible Hebden Bridge. I was at Buxton College with Ruth in 1959/60. My parents George and Vera Gilbert ran the Royal Oak from 65 to 70. I was 5-10 at the time. Anyone remember? Dad died about 18 years ago now but mum is still batting at 89! I went to burnley road school and remember not only kids names but adults as well due to living in the pub. give me a shout if you remember owt

I'm researching my husband's grandma's family tree. Her maiden name was Berry and I am looking for any descendants of Arthur and Marion Berry. Arthur died in Battersea in 1959 - the informant's name on his death certificate is Marion Berry of 11 Aspinall Street, Mytholmroyd. Arthur had a previous wife and their daughter is looking for any half siblings she may have.
